Trainings

The Center offers trainings, multi-day learning summits, and multi-stakeholder collaborative efforts to develop the workforce statewide and advance improvements in programs and services. We develop and implement educational opportunities in response to feedback from community-based health organizations. We have offered trainings on various topics, including cultural humility, youth mental health first aid, collaborative problem solving, and ethics & boundaries.

We have also developed initiatives to increase the diversity of the health care workforce, including facilitation of a six-month intensive leadership training institute for providers of color, contributing to making a long-term investment in career pipelines, development, advancement, and retention, and increasing the diversity of Oregon’s behavioral health workforce.

We value and strive to understand your work. We listen to your training needs, giving you the opportunity to continuously improve and help those who need you most. We offer in-person and virtual trainings based on the research of the needs of the people who take the trainings. We welcome your feedback so we can continuously improve our training offerings.
